Rodney Dangerfield - Classic Old School Comedy

Posted by Susan on Nov 04 2007 | Comedy

ps99-012-ns.jpgOne of the true original comics, Rodney Dangerfield found success late in his life with a classic underdog style comedy. Never rude but definitely fresh and original Dangerfield mastered the art of short jokes about recurring themes like his wifes cooking, going to the doctor and his favorite “no respect” line.

Despite his image on stageĀ  he was actually a real loving father and family man. HeĀ  created the legendary “Dangerfields” comedy restaurant to be closer to his wife and children. The spin off was that it launched some other well know American comedians, like Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Maher, Chris Rock, Ray Romano and Adam Sandler to name a few.
