Some more awesome stories of the transformational power of laughter.

I think laughter ought to be part of every medical prescription.

Dr. Paul M. Fleiss – CALIFORNIA.

My friends Mum and Dad were living in an Aged Home at Noosa. They became very depressed as their health deteriorated and so I decided to go to the Age Home and cheer them up with my laughter techniques. I took along my bag of bright mixed colored tutus. The residents put on a tutu (the oldest being 95 yrs) and their eyes lit up with excitement. Dress up Oldies Laughinghas always been good fun. Everyone, including the nursing staff, all joined in with the fun and laughter. Even the men put on tutu’s which really got them all laughing. When the laughter stated…..it became so contagious that everyone came ‘out of the wood work’ to gravitate towards the sounds of laughter. Everyone had wonderful fun, staff included. Les died two weeks later and when they had the wake I was asked to bring along my tutu’s to celebrate her Dad’s life. Everyone celebrated what a great life Les had and rejoiced TO THE CELEBRATION AND APPRECIATION OF LIFE.

Susan Brown – Noosa – Qld. – AUSTRALIA

I felt better in 2 ways. Emotionally I felt a huge relief from my stress. An unblocking affect as the energy of laughter flowed through me. The other thing that I felt was sweating after like when you finish doing exercises and you release all those endorphins. It made me feel energetic. Also the joy of seeing others have a good time as the workshop continued, the people became more and more contagiously warmed up to laughter-cise.

Livi Stuyck – SPAIN.

I have been going through a lot of stress lately and I found that although it was a lot of fun, I got a tremendous amount of relief from my burdens. I felt so light and free. It’s absolutely amazing how group laughter works.

Victor – Movie Director – LOS ANGELS.

My husband left me when our fourth child was born deformed. He told me he couldn’t handle imperfection. So he left us to fend for ourselves. I used to be so happy until then however the burden of trying to support my family alone and give extra care to my son took away all my joy. I became very tied and sad. That is until the day I met Susan Brown who introduced me to Let’s Laugh and now laughter has re entered my life again. Thank heavens. I feel like a new woman. I am coping so much better and my children are so much happier. Especially my darling ‘special needs’ child.

Shelah – ENGLAND

I haven’t laughed like this in my entire life. I mean a real belly laugh. I feel so good! I didn’t realize that laughter could make me feel lke I’ve been on drugs. It certainly gave me a natural ‘high’. I’m absolutely going to tell my friends about this one.

Street Kid – PICCADILLI CIRCUS – LONDON.

I am so amazed how by introducing laughter every morning to start work, has improved work relationships and productivity. Thank you Susan for introducing us to your Let’s Laugh program.

Tony – Twin Waters Resort – Qld – AUSTRALIA.

Before my darling soul mate wife died, I became drained of all positive energy and my heart refused to sing anymore. I withdrew from society as I lovingly cared for my darling in her great need for me. It broke my heart to see my loved one wilting away before my very eyes. I was so so sad as I witnessed her deterioration and I was going down hill fast. That is until I was told of therapeutic laughter to heal my pain. I was introduced to the Let’s Laugh program and although it felt strange at first, I joined in with group laughter. Although it was very difficult for me to laugh …. ‘I faked it till I made it’ so to speak and I felt so much better afterwards. However, it wasn’t until I got home that the true benefit from laughter hit me. I cried and cried and cried for an hour and half solid. The release was astounding. Laughter had unblocked my suppressed emotions and I felt a huge load lifted off my shoulders and out of my body. After that, I was able to accept my darling’s departure with new found love and understanding. It was quality time until she departed.
